Why Fat Fast Women at Age 40

For most women, entered the age of 40 years not only erode confidence. As the signs of aging, middle-aged women are also prone to obesity.

Nutritionists from the United States, Mark Icemoning, said many women experience weight increase significantly after the age of 40 years.

Based on studies with a number of nutritionists, Icemoning revealed that 80 percent of middle-aged women susceptible to sarcopenic obesity. Excess body weight that usually occurs due to decrease in muscle tissue mass.

The study showed that many women lose 30 to 50 percent of muscle mass when the age of 45 years. This is related to aging that could potentially slow down the metabolic processes, which will eventually replace muscle with fat mass.

According Icemoning, decreased muscle mass will slow down the burning of calories in the body. These conditions resulted in almost the entire intake of food that enters the body transformed into fat deposits.



"Visual effect, they are prone to have the body size of up to twice the original size every 10 years," said Icemoning, as quoted from Genius Beauty.

Some nutritionists say, the changes make women entering middle age must undergo a special diet. One of the key stau is not too obsessed with losing fat because your body needs fat in this period in much smaller than when younger.

For the maintenance of muscle mass, middle-aged women are also advised to increase intake of protein. And most importantly, they should always maintain the physical condition in order to enhance the ability of metabolism.
